“Before you act, listen. Before you react, think. Before you spend, earn. Before you criticize, wait. Before you pray, forgive. Before you quit, try.” – Ernest Hemingway
IV PADS is more than a bed. The most important part of our program is the individualized case management service. Each client is unique and has different needs which are addressed through a service plan. The goal of IV PADS is not to ONLY provide temporary shelter, but rather to help our clients to self-sufficiency.
Case Management Service:
- An assessment questionnaire is given to each new client
- Clients will be interviewed by case manager to build an individual service plan
- Individuals must cooperate and participate in the agreed upon plan
- Referrals will be made to any and all local resources who provide needed services
- There is a 30-day staff review. At this time progress and cooperation are discussed, which determine eligible length of stay
- Staff will be in daily communication with individuals about needed assistance
- Consequences for behavior are given for both positive and negative actions
